W70 series eyepieces offer a wider field of view and more comfortable eye relief than Plossls.
The W70-19mm has eight (8) elements, 66-degree AFOV, 16mm eye relief and negative achromat compensation, eliminating spherical aberration. Excellent colour correction, rubber grip, fold-down eyeshield and full multicoating are features.
The W70-15mm has four (4) elements. It's a multicoated design with 70-degree AFOV. and 9.5mm eye relief, rubber eyeshield and grip. It does not have negative achromat compensation and is recommended only for telescopes with a high f/ration or for terrestrial use.
The W70-6mm has five (5) elements: 70-degree AFOV, 11.5mm eye relief, and negative achromat compensation, eliminating spherical aberration. Excellent colour correction, fold-down eyeshield, and multicoating are features.
The W70-4mm has six (6) elements, 70-degree AFOV, 12.5mm eye relief and negative achromat compensation, eliminating spherical aberration. Excellent colour correction, rubber grip, fold-down eyeshield and multicoating are features.
